Egypt: Street scenes

Today I post just some average street photos in Cairo.  Unedited, raw snapshots into another culture.  Open van doors driving down the road, pony carts on freeways (this one just happens to be going in the proper direction), nothing fancy or spectacular.  People living out their lives, just like we do.  Well, with a lot less regulation and OSHA approval.

Except for that today these same streets may be filled with confusion, violence and terror.  I pray today for Egypt.  A strange land I fell in love with.  I pray for the people I brushed up against in a momentary fashion, the other 22 million in Cairo I didn’t meet, for a quick resolution that is good for the Egyptian people and also for the world, so that the world will support it.
