Amsterdam Architecture

My absence from this blog will be explained by the entries I make for the next while.  Starting with an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam, wandering around the city and giving a nod to Anne Frank’s hiding place for 25 months.  (No photos allowed there.)

I was overwhelmed by the oh, 3200 or so photos I took on this trip, and finally settled with starting at the beginning.  (I took someone to this blog on the journey and realized, I don’t have very much of my art on here.  So I will be adding more of that as well as time goes on.)

This layover was a last minute surprise, brought on by a flight attendant strike, so there was no research time.  I can’t tell you what these scenes are, just that they were beautiful and caught my attention.

The weather was delightfully grey and misty.  More to come…
